There used to be an excellent copy-paste “Why your solution to spam won’t work”, that I tried to find for this response, but obviously it’s no longer simple to Google because the relevant search terms have all been “optimised”. A massive QoL improvement that is implementable — Apple actually enforcing their guidelines on notification-type spam — seems to continue to be a dream only.
