- The argument, "the lottery is a tax on poor / stupid people" is valid but useless when talking about small amounts of money.
- The difference(s) between winning the lottery and someone just giving you millions of dollars? - 1) You know where the money came from; 2) The person just giving away the millions isn't receiving payment for giving away the money.
