The worst thing for me about nextdoor is nextdoor. Everything about the app brings out the worst in people. Nextdoor made me realize that I'd really rather not know that much about my neighbors.
- margalabargala 3y agoNextdoor is particularly extraordinary in how people will sign their real name to utterly vile comments in front of the people they live near. Even Facebook was never that bad.

FTFY I really enjoy meeting and casually getting to know my actual neighbors in person to person interactions. The local Nextdoor is a cesspit. Its just not the right medium for actual human connection.
