Incredible. RAG will be obsolete in a year or two.
- hackernoteng 3y agoIt's already obsolete. It doesn't work except for trivial cases which have no real value.
- jeanloolz 3y agoObsolete if you don't take cost in consideration. Having 10 millions of token going through each layer of the LLM is going to cost a lot of money each time. At gpt4 rate that could mean 200 dollars for each inference
