Share with kde connect, select your windows, linux, iOS, android whatever device, done.
The only restriction is that both devices are connected to the same WiFi.
Why are you looking for cloud solutions for a local transfer?
- austinjp 3y agoUnfortunately this doesn't always work on corporate/academic networks.
- h4kor 3y agoThanks for sharing this. Didn't know this and just tried it. Works amazing!
- genewitch 3y agodoes this work in reverse? I took a video on my phone and now i want to put it on my computer but my kid took my USB cable to school...
- fransje26 3y agoYes. As you need kdeconnect installed on both devices to transfer your data from the one to the other, it is trivial to also transfer data back once the connection is established. The app is available for Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS and more.
- fransje26 3y agoI haven't managed to get kdeconnect it to play well with firewalls though..
- rwky 3y agoIf they're connected to a vpn that allows client to client communication that also works you just have to specify the ips in the setup screen since auto detection won't work.
