Why do we subsidize fiction?
- ggm 3y agoEntertainment is an ineffable positive to the economy. There is nothing there but people create value (wealth) in it. All the time. So the government funds fiction, because it makes value. You don't have to ask why the government funds propaganda, which is also mostly fictive.
- ijhuygft776 3y agothey also create fiction.... and subsidize corn. I would not say "we" because it is only somewhat true.
