I don't own one, but this is a common complaint I've heard. I guess the trick is not to wear one 24/7 and take sporadic breaks. Just like we do with phones or desktop PCs. The dream of the AR/VR maxis is to have us all plugged in 24/7 but there's caveats to that.
- PaulHoule 3y agoDuring the Christmas break I was playing through Asgard's Wrath 2 (still not done) and there were a few days that I played for five hours, not in one session, but in several sessions. That's with the Meta Quest 3 with the Elite Strap, I don't think I could have stood to play that long with the strap that came with the MQ3. I definitely made a plan to acclimatize myself to VR, starting out with short sessions and moving to longer sessions and also picking up a range of software to use in it so that I could keep in the habit. Now that I am developing my own "worlds" for it using A-Frame I have a lot of insight into how different user interfaces work.
