'Better than real men': Young Chinese women turn to AI boyfriends
- azemetre 3y agoHas there been any in depth interviews with the creators of these products? Do they have a healthy relationship? Do they have children? Would they encourage their children to use these products? I want to know how these people think because this seems so dystopian. I wonder how long it takes for some national state actor to break these services and convince the users to engage in violence? I wonder if we could create a LLM based on Vincent Bugliosi and convince a jury that the AI boyfriend should be sentenced to jail. What would that consist of? Pulling the plug for a life sentence? Not allowing them to access the open web? Putting in a lower quality GPU to impair it? I should consult the science fiction section of my library, unless someone has suggestions of similar works of fiction?
