  methods, lack of effort to hide the crime, the low population, makes repeat offenders highly visible and well known. stolen items sold online in the small village/ rural region they were stolen from. snow for seven months of the year makes tracking, trivial, and deep cold pushes all but the most desperate to operate for 2-3 months after breakup. so well known persons, likely time and place of operation, and a lack of forethought planning a crime, make an easy catch, during 'spring cleanup'
