  Oh, I recycle them, but Prime encouraged me to make individual purchases of what were often tiny items. So, I knew I was using way more box than I ought. Remember, recycling is not perfect. It takes energy, and unlike metals and glass, often the recycled material cannot be reused the same way. As a raw material, it has degraded in quality and utility.
