That would be nice, but in all other areas in tech that's exacly the opposite of what companies want. I haven't looked into matter too much, but I'm sceptical.
- bgentry 3y agoYou should probably look into it then! I have numerous Matter window/door sensors and switchable outlets connected to both HASS and HomeKit and they're working very well. I've never used a vendor's app for any of them.
