It’s funny because I wish there was more legislation around databases. People do a piss poor job of securing and maintaining them, resulting in all kinds of theft, fraud, etc. Likewise, we for some reason allow to people to build databases of information about people that should be illegal (e.g. real time location tracking), which they then sell to people who have no business having that information.
