- ars 3y agoTrue, but it's being wasted anyway. The amount of power dissipated in the daily tides is around 3.75 terawatt, around 3 million times as much. And don't assume this 1.2 MW adds to that total, a good portion of it is simply substituted.
- vitiral 3y ago??? by that metric literally nothing in the universe is renewable. RENEWABLE ENERGY IS IN VIOLATION OF THERMODYNAMICS. WE ARE ALL HEADING TOWARDS THE HEAT DEATH OF THE UNIVERSE.
