I love the idea of this but it is so, so far from the iterative approach I normally use. When I have taken this approach - pencil and paper - I find that it accelerates the initial big decisions (e.g. "what will this module's responsibility be?") but sometimes causes rework when I discover that I was optimistic or unaware of how two areas of the code interact. Perhaps I'm just not doing it thoroughly enough.
