You have to admit. Left-wing San Francisco isn't working.
- jeffbee 3y agoHave we tried it yet? SF has been run by and for old money for decades.

- EA-3167 3y agoCompared to what? Afaik SF doesn't have the history of abject dependence on federal support that many 'Red' states have. SF is the hub of the technology world, which also seems like a success story any other states would wish for.
- billy99k 3y agoThe crime is out of control. Many people leave their cars unlocked, because it will be more expensive when thieves break their windows anyway (which happens far often than in any other city). We also can't forget this: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/View/index.html?appid=b6fab720912642b6aedafdb02a76d2a4 https://www.arcgis.com/apps/View/index.html?appid=b6fab72091... This is all the result of left-wing politics and left-wing politicians. If we ever want to fix the problem, we need to admit the cause.
- demondemidi 3y agoIt is entirely a result of unregulated capitalism in the tech sector. Not policy. San Fran policy needs to stop coddling the trillion dollar babies. SF in the 70's and 80's was fine before techbros came along.
- the_only_law 3y agoMaybe people should start overturning their busses again.
- jeffbee 3y agoGet a grip. San Francisco in the 1980's had 20+ robberies every day. It was ridiculously bad.
- billy99k 3y agoHow does 'unregulated capitalism' cause SF to allow the theft of up to $1000 with a minor warning/no jail time? Another issue is high taxes in California (another left-wing idea). With taxes so high, the very rich are still rich and the middle class are living paycheck-to-paycheck essentially creating two classes: rich and poor. This is what happens in nearly every country that does this.
