The tide has turned in bosses' battle against working from home
- chiefalchemist 3y ago> Businesses are also becoming increasingly confident in cracking down on home-working as the power shifts from employee back to employer. "Cracking down"? Huh?? Why the police state-ish kinda language? Or at least it's baby sitter-y? We're talking about grown adults here. Adults creative and crafty enough to "get even" if they believe their being taken advantage of. The tone here just reeks of the 20th Century. Mind you, I'm not naive. I know dated and heavy-handed companies exist. But there are still companies offering and promoting WFH. They will have openings and the better employees from the force-fed companies will update their CV and leave the 20th Century behind.
