HiddenBar

When I open the hidden bar, they still expand "behind" the notch. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing. HiddenBar will declutter your menu bar by hiding things but it doesn’t help with having so many menu bar items that they’re obscured by the notch like Bartender does.
