Just out of curiosity: do the flywheels actually stop and rotate slowly in either direction or is it just an artifact of the video?
- ElectricalUnion 3y agoOne of the optimizations that is employed to make the whole thing possible is reducing flywheel rotational speed whenever possible. Otherwise, as the video says, the reaction wheels get saturated and you lose control over that saturated axis rotation.
