dag - can I request a temporary pass on accusing people of not reading the article? I jest of course - but this comment thread seems to contain a lot of posts that appear to have missed the point (especially the "vehicles in the park" responses where few acknowledge the sections that call out HN specifically) I wonder if there's something about the points raised in this article that the typical HN denizen is constitutionally predisposed to "not getting". The overall conclusion is along the lines of "stuff is complicated and throwing rationalityh at it won't help" and "the solution (if there is one) would be a messy, partial, human solution".
