- nabla9 3y agoSaudi Royals are incompetent fools. I don't think they considered any of the issues Hanson does. The Line is just flashy and cool concept to stroke the ego of MBS. Saudi Arabian water supply infrastructure insufficient, and suffers from aging and inefficient infrastructure, but Royals spend money on flashy structures. In 2005 Saudi Arabia launched six megaprojects. One of them was King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). It has now 7000 people and it failed. None of the other megaprojects finished either.
