When there is a one person $1B company someday, which I think is very possible, I believe it will come after a series of events that will make it obvious that such a thing could exist. For example, the existence of several multi trillion dollar market cap companies, plethoras of small companies worth several billion dollars, and probably a radical rethinking of compensation and capitalism in the economy.

- williamDafoe 3y agoProbably the guy who masters how to make realtime interactive porn with AI will be the first $1 billion sole proprieter ... Don't laugh YouTube already has hundreds of StableDiffusion channels uploading MANY videos a day ..
- CoastalCoder 3y agoHe'd also probably win some Nobel prize for addressing human overpopulation. I feel bad for any normal human who needs to compete for affection against a future, hyper-optimized AI sexbot.
- no_wizard 3y agoI think WhatsApp stands out here, as they had 55 people employed when they were acquired for 19 Billion in 2014. I know it was mostly stock but given how things played out, that means it was worth even more as it were (Meta stock only rose from that time period onward, for the most part) We're already starting to see this become more and more possible with fewer and fewer people.
