So can anyone help me understand why RedHat/Fedora has a containerized solution for desktop apps (flatpak), but nothing like that for CLI apps? It seems... odd.
- Comma2976 3y agoI believe toolbx is supposed to fill that gap, if not normal containers
- Daegalus 3y agoToolbx, Distrobix, Nix are supposed to fill that usecase.
- dralley 3y agoBecause it was already considered a solved problem. You can use standard containers for that sort of thing, so why reinvent that wheel.
