Ask HN: What do you use to host Go apps?

I've gone through all the options of hosting Go apps and services and finally come back around to just running a VM in a cloud provider and literally standing up the apps myself behind nginx. I think this is like a 10+ year journey. I couldn't really find a more cost effective and simpler solution than this. What's everyone else do?
