Ask HN: What is the difference between a startup and a business?
- aurareturn 3y agoA lot of people mistakenly label a company as a startup when it's just a business. But in VC terms, a startup emphasizes growth over profitability until they can hit massive scale. A business strives to be profitable from the start or near the start.
