Wow he really jumped into the deep end of the pool, and is about to find out how hard hardware is, let alone custom chips! Apple didn’t even attempt it until the not so distant past and it was still seen as incredibly risky for them. And they weren’t innovating a whole new ASIC and nascent industry at the same time. He’s got guts, but does he really have enough relevant experience in hardware (the hardest parts of it too) to think this will be successful? Where is all the confidence coming from?
