Stop Writing Dead Programs. Maybe I scanned this too quickly, but I did not see any definition of 'dead programs' or why we should stop using them. 'Old' programs are not necessarily 'dead' programs. I venture to state that no program is 'dead' if it can still be run. I myself often use programs that are over 45 years old. They're certainly not 'dead' in my eyes.
