Still watching and buying DVDs here too.
- JohnFen 3y agoMe too. I've stepped up my DVD purchasing lately, even, because some movies that I don't want to lose are becoming more and more difficult to get. So I've been stocking a library against a future where they just won't be available anymore.
- PaulHoule 3y agoBest Buy is about to stop selling new disks but you will be able to get used discs for a long time at places like https://ithacareuse.org/ https://ithacareuse.org/ which sells them as well as the Salvation Army, Ebay, etc. If you have a TV, VHS tapes are an very accessible obsolete format because that place sells the decks for $12 and the tapes for $0.50: you could get one of the greatest movies of all time with a quality 5.1 soundtrack or you could get a Jackie Chan bootleg recorded at the lowest quality speed.
