I work from home and take Uber rides regularly. Lately I've gotten deteriorating service quality and value from Uber. On multiple occasions an Uber Share ride either said "walk 9 minutes to your pickup location" or after leaving the downtown core approaching the highway on-ramp, headed back into the core beyond where it picked me up, to get another rider, adding 20 minutes for a 30 min trip. At this point, it's more economical for me to drive myself. I'd be surprised if Uber can maintain growing profits.
