My phone has never really been the problem. I don't install frivolous apps, don't watch YouTube or TikTok, etc. The real problem for me is ... HN. Here I am. At work. With one browser tab wasting time on HN. Admittedly, though, I'm not totally lost. I'll check HN when I'm taking a break for some other reason, running a big suite of tests maybe, or like now, listening to our C-suite regale us with the exciting future of the company and how awesome we all are. Somehow they manage to do this while continuing to sound like they have no idea what to actually do next (and it's not a tiny company, ~5000 employees). But I digress.
