"From the 4th century CE".
Somebody remind me, what is year-zero in 'CE' terms? Which way does counting go in 'CE'?
- bookofjoe 3y ago"There is no year 0. Jesus was born before 4 B.C.E. The concept of a year "zero" is a modern myth (but a very popular one). In our calendar, C.E. 1 follows immediately after 1 B.C.E. with no intervening year zero." - bookofjoe 3y agoAu contraire: you asked "... what is year-zero in 'CE' terms?" Answer: "There is no year 0."
- ahazred8ta 3y agoCE is exactly the same thing as AD. Both use 1 AD as a starting point.
