Honest question: do you think this opening line adds to the thesis of the article? It looks like a totally useless throw away line, a weird unrelated "zinger ".
- infotainment 3y agoIt’s a flowery opening, but I’d argue it’s not too different than, say, opening with a Shakespeare quote or something. I think certain commenters got weirdly angry about it because they interpreted it as some kind of feminist anti-male screed when it was just intended to be a throwaway.
