"usually", "pretty fast" includes "but sometimes not", "it takes some time". I've had enough occasions where I saw the black label but had no clue what was going on. Sometimes the post title isn't obvious that a person has died either. "Remembering Paul Graham", e.g., isn't so obvious (maybe to non-native speakers); and there's various ways to word this, ranging from obvious to not. If HN makes the effort of styling the site, it would be nice to include a link to the 'canonical' related thread, IMO.
