He didn't ask to learn programming, he asked to learn CS. He isn't getting a PhD in discrete math, he is reading a discrete math book, which is a bare minimum for learning CS.
- Rod 18y agoYou are right and I stand corrected. I was somewhat puzzled that someone who has no technical background actually wanted to learn CS. That is unusual. Often people want to learn how to program and call it "CS", though CS has little to do with writing code. Thanks for correcting me.
