The article misses that the real point of bitcoin is to shut down the central banking scam. This is evidenced by the message in it's genesis block. No longer will people/corporations that custody your property be able to infinitely rehypothecate it, stealing value out of the property for themselves, for perpetuity. The reason for this is that whenever they rehypothecate bitcoin they will run the risk of liquidation in the event of a "run on the bank". With fiat currencies this risk has been removed by the central banks' power to print infinite money, which has had disastrous effects on populations around the world, facilitating an enormous transfer of wealth from the general population to those closest to the money printer.
