A lot of "DEI" and related topics seems to largely consist of upper-middle-class people flaunting their prestige dialect and reciting their pious knowledge of fashionable beliefs. Whether deliberate or not, it's ironically quite effective at filtering out people from less privileged backgrounds and insinuating moral inferiority in the process
