Ask HN: What software do you wish someone would build for you?
- BillyTheMage 3y agoMultithreaded Emacs in Common Lisp. Ridiculous dream, I know, but I want it.
- zzo38computer 3y agoProbably, whatever one I did not have time to fully write by myself; other people can help too, I hope. For example: - Pokemon battle simulator in C with C API. - Implementations (and reviews) of some parts of the operating system design that I had (partially) written. - Free bitmap fonts with TRON character code. (I have partially been able to do it, by recoding some JIS fonts.) - Probably some others, too.
- petabyt 3y agoI've always wanted something like https://pingendo.com/ https://pingendo.com/ but OSS and would generate much more lightweight sites. I really enjoyed using Pingendo a few years back.
