Copyright is for publication, not creation. I honestly don't consider telling GPT to draw Homer Simpson as publication. Sticking it on a blog is publication. (Law may differ on this, I admit).
- quatrefoil 3y agoThe basic legal principle is that you sue whoever has the most money. Suing a random blogger who used ChatGPT doesn't accomplish much. Suing ChatGPT under a novel legal theory might.
