My understanding is that the "Karen" archetype usually complaints or abuses people without any power to do anything about the issue. Companies have structured their systems such that every point of contact with the outside world is as powerless as possible. The person on the other side might even agree with the complaint, but they usually don't have any power to do anything about it, and they're probably making minimum wage.
