I mean, I am very pro competition and open web, but writing everything from scratch seems like waste of effort. I'd expect efforts to be focused. Why write Servo from scratch instead of porting Blink/Webkit? One could at least use the HTML/CSS layout manager. Seems like a waste of effort.
