Inventing the Perfect College Applicant
- gnicholas 3y agoI didn't understand why a friend of my (a former lawyer and stay-at-home-parent) decided to do college consulting. After having recently learned how lucrative it can be (six figures per client, annually), I now understand why! > For $120,000 a year, Christopher Rim promises to turn any student into Ivy bait. Of course this isn't quite accurate, since the consultant can choose to accept or reject a student based on the student's promise (or more likely, the parents' expectations).
