Hybrids don’t support fast charging, and need to be plugged in way more frequently to stay on the electric powertrain (regen is only a small incremental improvement and not a power source itself, so a hybrid not charged is just a gas-powered car). Hybrids only make sense when you can charge at home. Otherwise it’s better to get a BEV with 10x larger battery, that needs to be plugged in 10 times less often.
