My brother had to go through a lot of hoops to lock my nephew out of YouTube kids after he started wandering down some nasty rabbit holes there. Unfortunately, my nephew is mostly non-verbal on the autism spectrum, so it's not the sort of thing you can sit him down and have a conversation about why the content is inappropriate. Content moderation is a very poorly solved problem at scale.
