My Aeron is 12 years old now: warranty just expired. Yup: 12 years warranty. And never an issue although I WFH and use it daily. Been with me through four countries already (yup I move a lot).
I very never seen anything as sweet to sit on as that "pellicle mesh" they invented. It was first created for old people who couldn't t move a lot anymore then they pivoted into office chairs.
You simply never sweat while sitting on that pellicle mesh.
You MUST spend 20 minutes to set it up correctly (it has to lean back when you put your hands behind your head) and you must have one of the correct size. But once setup, in 12 years, I didn't t have to change the settings even once.
To everyone's bad taste but that s one darn quality chair.
I prefer it to other Herman Miller chair that do not have that pellicle mesh and I also think it lo9ks better.
In addition to that it s on permanent display at MoMA and it s the "Web 1.0" icon too.
Last chair I'll ever use.
