- ant6n 3y agoThe Maledives may more likely be submerged if the Poles heat up by 1.7C, for a time frame of 50 years. The ice in the poles doesn't all melt immediately.

What makes Campbell Macpherson an expert? He doesn't appear to have scientific credentials. - timeon 3y agoDoes this trope still work? Exxon report from early 80s for example mentions studies stating that effect of climate change will be noticeable only after 2020
