What a megaproject! Has anyone tried to make a formal plan of this (like there are for other speculative projects)?
- pfdietz 3y agoYes, people have looked into this, but I don't have many details. One proposal was to put charged tethers into orbit in the magnetosphere. Particles would be deflected by them, some into the loss cone where they'd enter the atmosphere and be removed.
