While the matter of PA might be controversial, Israel is unambigously occupying Syrian territory - that is, the Golan Heights.

  Syria attempted to invade Israel asking for a fight. It's tertitory is used by Hezbollah to launch attacks on Israel. It's quite a different situation from the war in Ukraine.

    Israel both initiated the 1967 war and is still occupying the golan heights.

      "initiated" is a stretch... If your neighbor is coming to kill you and you shoot first you are - again - defending yourself... thats one of the dumbest arguments i've ever heard!
