What is the source of the author’s angst? Are they a recruiter who struggles to find qualified candidates? A developer who feels they constantly work with 0.1x developers? I “unfollow” all 8 of those points and still struggle to find a job (the market is tough these days). I can tell you having a Github with recent commits and actual code you’ve written (that others have forked!) means nothing. The few offers I have gotten in the last month would have me taking a pay cut from my last job.
