This is a screen recording from the device, which is not necessarily the same thing as what you as a user see when wearing the headset. For example there’s no vignette or distortion towards the edges what so ever in the video.

- lexlash 3y agoIt is very weird seeing edges in the real world that I know are 90 degree joins show up as curved in my peripheral vision while using pass through.
- ErneX 3y agoAlso keep in mind what the person is gazing at is what is higher res, the rest is lower res (foveated rendering to save resources).
- TillE 3y agoAs far as I can tell, the capture output is just a crop of the actual display. MKBHD was trying to demonstrate the FOV using his hands, which indicated that the limits of his view were significantly out of frame of the video.
