  The article is about spending less time on your phone in order to be more present in-person. Calling that "anti-society" is wild. That said, I'll agree that it is increasingly difficult to participate in some spheres without specific apps. The article discusses this too. It is an alarming trend that excludes those who are unable to or cannot afford to use smartphones.
