    This list has a unique non-development related factor which is that you have to have a minimum number of followers (varying from country to country) so you might be very active and contribute much more than most of the people on the list but do not have the minimum followers required (38 in your country) so you are out.

      I should be #1 in my country by far (~4-5x more followers than the current #1), but I'm not even listed. (Yes, my location is set properly.) I don't know where they get the user data from, but it's definitely incomplete.

      Oh huh wow, why do I have 85 followers on GitHub? What do you even see if you "follow" someone?

    Heh, my collegue is in top 200 for Russia, which doesn't sound right either (he's not that active). P.S. Oh, it says, "You need at least 52 followers to be on this list". He gives lectures at a uni and does code reviews via Github - I guess most of the followers are his students.
